Architectural Sales Rep
Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for an Architectural Sales Representative to join our team in our Ontario, CA market.
Role Summary:
- The Architectural Sales Rep will be responsible for promoting Henry Building Envelope Systems to the architectural and the building science consultant community in the form of architectural calls, technical seminars, and technical support in the selection and specification of our air barrier, waterproofing and roofing systems. Recording and actively tracking opportunities using our CRM and sharing timely opportunities with the Technical Sales team will be an important part of your role.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- The ideal candidate will have a strong building technology and construction background, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in the industry.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills and computer literacy are essential, plus you must be able to interact within a team environment.
- Demonstrated experience and accreditation in an associated discipline, the ability to effectively track projects through the specification and bidding stage, and ability to read and create construction details will be considered assets.
- Active involvement in associations such as CSC, IIBEC, OBEC, SWA and B&CRAO will be a part of your duties.
Education and Experience:
- A degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering or equivalent technical discipline preferred
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience in the industry
Working Environment/Travel:
- Moderate business travel requirements (30-40%)
- Territory: Ontario
